Taskbed is a managed domestic hiring platform. Families hire pre-vetted workers under a binding digital contract. Salaries are funded into an escrow wallet and released by Taskbed on the agreed payout date.

The family pays a single placement fee of 20% of the worker's first 3 months of contracted salary. It is charged once, before the worker starts, and it is the only fee Taskbed charges: there is no recurring platform fee and nothing is deducted from any salary. Workers are never charged any fee by Taskbed.

Replacement guarantee: if the placement ends within 3 months of its start date, Taskbed will place a replacement worker on the same terms at no further placement fee. The guarantee covers the worker resigning, being dismissed for cause, or failing to take up the role. It does not apply where the family ends the placement because they no longer want the role filled, or where the family's own conduct caused the worker to leave. After 3 months, a replacement is a new placement and carries a new fee.
